Thank You for your Music

This production is our way of saying thank you to The Rolling Stones for their catalog of songs and other contributions over their many years in the music industry!  We put together this video tribute by using the titles from their songs to create a story. So, if you're a Stones fan, we think you'll enjoy it.

Remembering John Lennon

Remembering John Winston Lennon

October 9, 1940 - December 8, 1980

Imagine had you been allowed to continue to live,

Your fans dream about the music you still had left to give,

You and your mates set the world ablaze,

And as it turned out it was your fame,

That became the motive to bear the blame,

We’ve missed you and your music over these many years,

Suffered the remorse and we’ve shed the tears,

We will forever be thankful for the songs that you left behind,

And we are totally in awe of your ability to craft a rhyme,

But most of all we will forever applaud you for being able to shine,

So bright within such a small window of time.

Love Helps Everyone Grow

I originally set out to write a short story to help my two grandchildren, Skylar and Ryder, grasp the power of love over hate. When it was complete, I realized its message could touch hearts of all ages.

A Moment of Silence

"A Moment of Silence" was originally produced in April 2020 to honor the doctors, nurses, and all other emergency workers who put themselves in harm's way during the height of the pandemic. The production was our way of saying thank you for your service and keeping us safe during those uncertain times. This project was also created to honor those we lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even now, over four years later, we still feel that it is up to each of us to ensure that those who were lost to the COVID-19 pandemic are never forgotten.

Those We Love

Life is full of choices and changes, each moment presenting a unique blend of opportunities and obstacles. Every decision we make shapes our path, influencing the direction of our journey. The path may be winding and unpredictable, but it is through navigating these twists and turns that we find our purpose and create our own narrative.

#Those We Love

Happy Mother's Day

If you’re lucky enough to still have one or both of your parents with you, I encourage you to give them all the love you can. Cherish every moment with them as if it could be your last, because one day, it will be. Over the years, I’ve learned that when someone you love passes away, a piece of you goes with them. Life changes in ways you can’t anticipate. While memories offer comfort, they don’t always bring healing.  I’ve also come to realize that, despite once resisting the idea of becoming anything like my parents, I now often catch myself echoing their words or mimicking their gestures. And more often than not, I find myself thinking—maybe they were right all along.  What I miss the most are the holidays. They simply aren’t the same without the people who made them special. No celebration ever quite recaptures that old magic. Still, looking back, I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything in the world.  To every mom out there—Happy Mother’s Day. May it be filled with love, health, and lasting memories.

Hearts, hearts, they are everywhere,

Hearts, hearts for all to share,

There’s one here for you Mom,

It doesn’t matter if you’re near or far,

You deserve them all just for who you are,

Each heart represents all that you’ve done,

Over the course of many years,

You have witnessed many smiles,

And when I needed you to wipe away my tears,

I will always grab a heart for you on this day each year,

As I reach for your special heart today,

I really wish that you could hear me say,

I LOVE YOU MOM,

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

She Was that Rainbow in the Sky

Based on a Poem by, Jere Silber...

She Was That Rainbow in The Sky

It was my darkest day,

When tomorrow seemed so far away,

Raindrops began falling from the sky,

There was this force that I can’t explain,

As this rainbow abruptly overshadowed the rain,

I sat alone and I began to cry,

That was no ordinary rainbow up in the sky,

I had seen her face before,

Perhaps it had been in a dream,

I cannot say for sure,

No other force could explain it,

Or even describe it,

Yet alone contrive it,

But in that moment forever frozen in time,

She was that rainbow up in the sky,

And even though I could never visualize an ending,

Nor did I think I would ever cry those tears again,

The truth of the matter is nothing lasts forever,

Special moments shine within their own time,

They are ours forever to have and to hold,

To reminisce over as we grow old,

But when they have passed, we must let them go,

Because memories are merely a map of our hopes and dreams gone by,

That continues to unite us with our past up until the day that we die…

A Sermon for Sunday

In today’s climate of widespread unrest and division, I’m interested in gauging the response—whether positive or critical—to this video, which is intended to spark thoughtful reflection and dialogue.

It does not matter what religion you are,

Or of which one you have become,

What matters the most is that the rules have changed,

Knowingly or not our priorities have been recklessly rearranged,

And ever since religion has been removed from the mix,

The world is suffering from events that have become more difficult to fix,

Have you ever wondered why we pushed it right out of the door,

And how we believed it would be better to neglect everything it was once responsible for,

Did we need to wait for the turmoil and unrest to surface,

To truly begin to understand the full extent of its reason and its purpose,

Faith was always our gatekeeper, It’s what kept us all in line,

It gave us hope, belief, and the promise that everything would always turn out to be fine,

The time has come for us to reopen the gate,

To restore our values, And renew our faith,

To once again praise those who deserve to be praised,

And to raise those who need to be raised,

To shelter those who need to be protected,

And to applaud the ones we have always respected,

To save those who deserve to be saved,

And for goodness sake honor the givers who always gave ...

Ode to Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson, was the creative force behind The Beach Boys, he was a legendary American musician, songwriter, and producer whose innovative sound shaped the landscape of 1960s pop and rock. Born in 1942 in California, Wilson co-founded The Beach Boys with his brothers and cousin, crafting sunny surf anthems before venturing into more complex, introspective music. His masterpiece, Pet Sounds, was hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time. Despite struggling with mental health issues and substance abuse, Wilson's genius endured. his video is based on a poem written a few years ago, after receiving two telephone calls on the same day. My friend Jim called to inform me his mother had passed away. Shortly after, my friend Steve called to share the happy news of his daughter's baby, making him a grandfather.

Wake Up Everybody

Wake Up Everybody was produced during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. What’s truly remarkable is how its message and themes continue to resonate with people even now. It’s a testament to the enduring relevance of the issues we faced and the insights we shared during that challenging time. but remains as relevant today as it was then.

And In The End

 And in the end,

When I’m  gone,

There will be those who are sad,

And a host of others who will be mad,

And I suspect there will be tons of tears,

With lots of drops over several years,

And in the end,

I will know how blessed I have been to have lived,

The promise of love,

And the pleasure to give,

And in the end,

I will know the importance of being kind,

And the value of everything that I am leaving behind,

But in the end,

Above all I will know,

I will not be given the choice whether to stay or to go ...

Traffic Stops - Police Video

In 1999, I was hired by the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland to undertake a comprehensive role in a youth-oriented video project. My responsibilities included writing the script, producing the entire production, and directing the project from start to finish. This initiative was designed to engage and inform young audiences. I played a central role in shaping the content and direction of the video to meet the department’s objectives and resonate with its intended viewers.

Traffic Stops - Out/Take

During the production of Traffic Stops, I was asked to step in front of the camera to perform this scene, as no one else was available or willing to take

on the role.

Bust Your Bubble

In our daily lives, we encounter a multitude of obstacles and challenges that can often feel overwhelming. The weight of these difficulties can be particularly disheartening, as we grapple with our own personal struggles while also being bombarded by troubling news reports. The constant barrage of stories about violence, such as murders, rapes, robberies, and assaults, can create a pervasive sense of anxiety and worry. These issues not only affect our sense of security but also amplify our concerns for the well-being of our loved ones and ourselves. The emotional toll of navigating such a tumultuous environment can be profound, making it crucial for us to find ways to cope and support one another through these trying times.

I Got A Call Today

This video is based on a poem written a few years ago, after receiving two telephone calls on the same day. My friend Jim called to inform me his mother had passed away. Shortly after, my friend Steve called to share the happy news of his daughter's baby, making him a grandfather.

I got a call today, My friend Jim’s mom passed away,

We all reach the age when news like this comes our way,

The older we get more of our loved ones are passing away,

And as we continue to age it begins to happen more and more day after day, Just think about all those people you once knew who are no longer here, That’s when the meaning of life becomes more abundantly clear, It demonstrates how we should all value every second of living,

And continue to cherish the life we have all been given,

Then I got another call today,

My friend Steve had a grandson come his way,

That call explained the circle of living,

It offered some interpretation between the taking and the giving,

It helped me to see the circle of life,

And how each departure is replaced by the arrival of a new life...
