Capital Cares Project - (1985)

The Capital Cares Project was based on our request for permission to participate in the annual Independence Day Show on the grounds of the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C.

Our  goal was  to perform a song against hunger entitled “Everyday People”.  The Capital Cares performance was to be delivered by Marc Cherry and an ensemble of local musicians and celebrities.  The every day people (on the monument grounds) would also be invited to sing along with the chorus thereby evoking a feeling of enthusiasm and personal involvement in the fight against hunger.  We would CHALLENGE other cities throughout the country to “Catch on and join in”  through the song.

Mister Word Wizard - (1998 - 2001)

Pilot Episode - Children's Television Program

I had the distinct honor to begin to produce a series of children's television projects called Mister Word Wizard featuring Richie Havens.  The show was written and directed by my longtime friend Kyle Morris. I am forever grateful  for having the opportunity to work with Kyle Morris and Richie Havens on these  incredible productions. Mister Word Wizard was definitely a very special labor of love.

Richie Havens - Mini Concert

As much as he is an icon in the music industry, Richie Havens is also an

incredible human being as well.  At the end of a 14 hour day of production

I asked Richie if he would perform one quick song for our crew.

Three songs later our production crew had been treated to a very  special

Richie Havens Mini - Concert at 12:30 am.

You can view one of the songs, "Freedom" that Richie Havens performed on that evening below.

There is also a short interview with Richie.  (Unfortunately the interview is not of first generation quality).

Recognizing Aggression - (2000)

Cable Television / Talk Show Format

"You many not realize it but not a day goes by where you don't hear about aggression on the evening news or read about it in the morning newspaper. It's all around us. And if it hasn't already had an effect on you personally, statistics tell us that in some way, shape or form eventually it will! It is our focus to show you how you can recognize aggression and then avoid it!"

Brave Soul Award - (2011)

It is understandable to lose all hope when you are forced to face such an inexcusable antagonist as cancer.  So it was very special for me to make my mom the very first recipient of the "BRAVE SOUL" AWARD, in 2011.  She was very humbled by it and so proud to receive it.  But, more importantly, she deserved it for the way that she confronted her fight against such a dreadful disease.

I watched in horror and in complete sadness because of how defenseless I was as she battled Lymphoma.  I saw her exert every ounce of strength that she could muster up on a daily basis until she got so weak that she could no longer fight back. But in the end, I was so proud of her for the way she fought her fight against cancer.  Even though she knew that lymphoma would win in the end she insisted on living her life on her terms with a style and grace as if to say, "I know the final score, but I also know that I will continue to live my life as I wish for as long as I am able. And she did, she fought up until the time that she took her last breath!

The "BRAVE SOUL" AWARD was created for my mother, but in the end, and as a way of continuing to keep her spirit alive forever, this award is FREE and is made available to be presented to anyone who is up against that very same battle that my mom was forced to face.

I know firsthand that this award can have a very strong impact on someone who has been stripped of all of their pride, dignity, and hope, so please let me know of anyone that you would like to present a “BRAVE SOUL” AWARD to and I will engrave it for you it and then forward it back to you via email!

Please share so that all will know that this award is available for FREE!
