Brave Soul award

I created the Brave Soul Award in 2011 in honor of my much-beloved mother, who was courageously battling cancer. I presented the first award to her as a way of recognizing the extraordinary courage, dignity, strength, and fearlessness she demonstrated throughout her fight.

When my mother passed away in 2012, the Brave Soul Award took on an even greater meaning for me.

I made it my personal mission to honor her memory by sharing her award with other courageous individuals facing the same battle she was forced to fight. What began as one award created for one very special woman became a way to recognize and encourage others during one of the most difficult journeys anyone can face.

Since my mother's passing, I have had the privilege of personalizing several hundred Brave Soul Awards for cancer warriors and their families.

If someone you love—a family member, friend, neighbor, or colleague—has been diagnosed with cancer, I would be honored to personalize a Brave Soul Award for them.

I will personalize the award certificate and send it back to you so that you can present it to that special person as a reminder that their courage, strength, and determination are seen and admired.

There is no greater tribute I could give my mother than to allow the award created for her to continue bringing encouragement to others.

The Brave Soul Award began with my mother. Her courage continues to inspire every award that bears its name.
